ACT I · THE STORY

Why this Beach Hut?

Long after the bathing machine wheeled itself out of fashion, its replacement stayed exactly where it was put. The beach hut never needed wheels. It belonged to one corner of the beach, painted in whatever colour its owner fancied that year, and it kept that spot for good.

Southwold, Whitstable, Mudeford: rows of them still line the same stretches of coast they've occupied since the 1920s and 30s, each one slightly different from its neighbour, each one exactly where it's always been.

Inside there's a kettle, a windbreak, someone's deckchairs, and the same view it's had for a century. Some things earn their place simply by staying put.

Every panel and colour has been carefully recreated from an original reference, capturing one of the most familiar sights on the British coast in miniature.

Before You Build

Dispatched within 1–3 working days and sent using a tracked service with Evri or Royal Mail. Standard delivery typically takes 2–4 working days after dispatch.

Handle pieces carefully during assembly, and your finished model with the same care.
Allow glue and paint to fully cure (typically around 24 hours) before regular handling.
Keep your model dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve its finish.
Dust occasionally with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth to keep it looking its best.

Contains small parts and glue. Recommended for ages 14+. Adult supervision is advised for younger builders. Use glue in a well-ventilated area and follow the instructions provided.

Kits are supplied unpainted and unassembled, ready for you to build and personalise.

Paint is not included, nor are any tools, props or decorative accessories shown in our photography unless specifically stated.

We reserve the right to refuse personalisation requests containing offensive or inappropriate wording. Any affected order will be refunded in full before production begins.
