ACT I · THE STORY

Why this Christmas Bird?

Of everything that ends up on a Christmas tree, a bird is the one that looks like it chose to be there.

Perhaps that's why they've been turning up on decorated trees for as long as there have been decorated trees. Long before glass baubles and fairy lights, small birds were being clipped onto the branches, and in parts of Europe finding a nest tucked into your tree was taken as a sign of good fortune for the year ahead.

There are four to choose from here, each a different colour, so you can pick the one that suits your tree or gather the lot and let them settle on separate branches.

Hung among the greenery, they have a way of looking as though they arrived on their own and simply decided to stay.

"It found the best branch on the tree, naturally."

ACT II · THE EXPERIENCE

Made to be Enjoyed

Every Curious Rabbit model is individually made to order in our Welsh workshop, carefully assembled and finished by hand. From the first cut to the final brushstroke, each one is created to be displayed, used and enjoyed for years to come.

An open brown cardboard box from Curious Rabbit on a wooden table, containing a product wrapped in white tissue paper and sealed with a round white sticker. The inside lid has printed text and a bunny illustration, and the box is styled with small plants and a ceramic mug in the background.

Make it
Yours

From the workshop

Long before a model arrives on your doorstep, it begins here.

Ideas become sketches, sketches become prototypes, and prototypes become the finished models you see in our collection. Every detail is carefully considered, tested and refined before a design finds its place under the Curious Rabbit name.
